Significant effects of testosterone on Rampage Jackson

The mixed martial artist and actor Quinton “Rampage” Jackson told about benefits of the steroid testosterone in the interview with Gary Alexander of “Fighters Only Magazine”. He talked about his decision to administer testosterone, about its effects on increase of muscle size, weight of the body and his sexual life. He said these words after his fail at UFC 144 in Japan.
The UFC champion was honestly talking about his decision to seek a physician who could recommend him testosterone replacement therapy. He noted honestly because he believed that testosterone didn’t include in anabolic steroids.  The UFC champion noticed that steroids were for muscles but testosterone was natural. So, he was mistaken, thinking that testosterone is not an anabolic steroid.
Actually, application of testosterone replacement therapy in mixed martial arts is a debated issue. Testosterone is utilized legally in case of hypogonadism (reduced testosterone secretion). Thus, mixed martial artists who experience this disease may get a therapeutic use exemption that permits to administer the steroid testosterone legally.
But the issue that is widely discussed is whether the sportsperson that applies therapeutic dose of testosterone may obtain unfair advantage during competitions.
The most of sportspersons that have received a therapeutic use exemption for intake of testosterone for therapeutic purposes deny getting any enhancement of performance due to testosterone replacement therapy.
As for Rampage Jackson, he stated that testosterone replacement therapy had promoted increasing his muscle mass, helped to get faster recovery from his injuries and had positive effect on his sexual life. The mixed martial artist claimed that he had had a knee injury. After he had administered 3 measures of testosterone, the knee was healed. He added bodyweight and muscle size. This mixed martial artist noted that small doses of the steroid testosterone had produced obvious changes in him. His sexual life was improved significantly; he started to feel as if he had been only 25.
Rampage Jackson condemned steroids for his impossibility to lose weight to meet criteria of the 206lb weight class.
Rampage Jackson states that he doesn’t violate any rule. He applies testosterone and believes that it is legitimately.
He confirms that he is happy that he applies testosterone.
