Nightmares about steroids in baseball

The former MLB player Jose Canseco has said that he has nightmares linked with steroids. He has stated that he has begun to have nightmares from the time of writing the book “Juiced: Wild Times, Rampant Roids, Smash Hits and How Baseball Got Big”. This work reveled usage of steroids in the MLB. The author has reported on his Twitter account that nightmares connected with steroids hunt him since he wrote the book. Moreover, he continues to experience them till nowadays. He compares them with a demon that never sleeps.
The former professional baseball player has called himself the “godfather of steroids in baseball”. The former professional baseball player noted in his book about application of steroids by players of the MLB quite openly. This work has become a bestseller. ”The godfather of steroids in baseball” has wrote names of the players who have taken anabolic steroids. Jose Canseco stated that he had been pushed out of professional baseball due to his book.
Jose Canseco identified such athletes, as Rafael Palmeiro, Ivan Rodriquez, Jason Giambi and Juan Gonzalez, confirming that they had administered steroids. He also identified Alex Rodriquez and Roger Clemens but he didn’t claim that he had known about administration of steroids by these athletes directly.
The most celebrated name that has been mentioned by Jose Canseco in his book is the name of the former professional baseball player Mark McGwire who hit 70 homeruns. Jose Canseco noticed that McGwire had taken Deca Durabolin and Winstrol, when they played with the Oakland A’s.
Canseco noted that he had injected Mark McGwire with steroids many times in the bathrooms and in other places. He noticed that he injected McGwire before their trainings or after them.
At the beginning no one was inclined to believe that these statements were true. Mark McGwire denied intake of steroids. But later the accusations were proven. Finally Mark McGwire admitted that he had administered steroids and HGH. He said that Jose Canseco had written the truth.
McGwire admitted that he had applied forbidden substances and he had apologized about this factor. He mentioned that he was administering them during the 90s. Later McGwire has got possibility to play baseball professionally again. He was engaged as a St. Louis Cardinals’ hitting instructor.
As for Jose Canseco, he dreams to receive the 2nd  chance and to return to the MLB. The “Tigres de Quintana Roo” have decided to give the 2nd  chance. Canseco hopes that this is his stop in direction to the MLB.
