While you blame steroid use, what do you think about increase of cognitive performance with drugs?

Journalists often write articles about those that have unnaturally increased muscles and endurance. Reading their affirmations, you can notice that those who take steroids and/or other related medicines are harshly blamed. Such persons are criticized in the society. They are named “cheaters”. It is affirmed that those that apply steroids for athletic purposes may become addicted to these products. Many articles also contain information linked with probable side results of steroids. Although several unwanted effects occur in consumers of steroids, others are not proven scientifically. For example, it is widely reported about violence and murders committed by consumers of steroids. It is affirmed that steroids may cause uncontrolled behavior that results in crimes. However, so named “roid rage” connected with these medications is considered to be a controversial issue.
Many individuals claim that administration of anabolic steroids for increase of muscle mass and strength, hardening of muscles and fat loss is a moral issue. Let analyze! Is this affirmation free from hypocrisy? Why are only anabolic steroids blamed? Do just these medications make the society unnatural? Let analyze other aspects of our society! What do you think about sexual stimulants? It is said that you should not suffer from sexual dysfunctions, when there are suitable products to get rid of such problems. Moreover, what do you think about anti-aging products? Why should you have evident wrinkles, if there are methods to hide your age? Models and actors take certain preparations but they are not named “cheaters”. Students administer certain preparations for increase of their cognitive abilities. They are not demonized too. Certain experts that have conducted some studies affirm that those that use steroids for increase of physical abilities are more harshly blamed than those that use certain medications to enhance cognitive capacities. Is it fair?
As you see, our world is full of hypocrisy, ignorance and unfair accusations. May you blame steroid users in this world? May you state that usage of steroids for performance-enhancing effects is a moral issue? Be real! If you start blaming steroid users, don’t forget about other aspects of life!
