Anderson Silva will meet steroid user at UFC 148

Chael Sonnen is allowed to apply anabolic steroids. The doctor Timothy Trainor noticed that this sportsman actually experienced hypogonadism.
What does this condition represent? Hypogonadism is linked with insufficient production of testosterone. Physicians ordinarily prescribe hormone replacement therapy in order to treat this disorder.
Chael Sonnen has obtained a therapeutic use exemption (TUE). So, this mixed martial artist is allowed to use steroids for clinical needs and meet Anderson Silva at UFC 148 in July 2012.
According to recommendations of Chael Sonnen’s doctor, he should apply injections of Testosterone Enanthate and Testosterone Cypionate twice a week. The measures which are indicated have not been disclosed. But under rules of the Nevada Athletic Commission, blood serum levels of testosterone in Chael Sonnen should be within normal range on the morning after the match with Silva.
The physician Trainor claims that those who compete with TUE must be tested on the morning after the match to find out whether they have utilized something right before the match.
The doctor Trainor suggests that testosterone can cause performance-enhancing effects, if it is utilized right before the fight. He claims that injections must not be applied in the days before a fight to prevent high testosterone levels.
But it seems that the NAC doesn’t know that steroids cause effects related to increase of performance, not only if they are used right before competitions. Intake of steroids influences significantly on performance during trainings before competitions. And the results remain even after athletes stop administering them.
Sonnen had increased testosterone levels at UFC 117. He noted that he had tested positive because he had been on TRT.  After his appeal the suspension was lowered to 6 months from one year. But Chael Sonnen didn’t have any TUE that time.
