Doses of steroids used by Arnold Schwarzenegger were lower by 20 times than those taken by current bodybuilders

Arnold Schwarzenegger took anabolic steroids. These preparations helped him to have success. The famous bodybuilder acknowledged that he succeeded because of these drugs essentially. But he also confirmed that other competitive bodybuilders used these drugs too. Arnold Schwarzenegger was aware of the fact that all elite athletes and bodybuilders applied anabolic steroids. If Arnold Schwarzenegger had not taken performance-enhancing drugs, other bodybuilders would have had unfair advantage over him.
However the celebrated bodybuilder admitted to usage of steroids, he never apologized. Intake of these products was not prohibited, when Arnold Schwarzenegger competed. Usage of steroids and other related products didn’t represent any problem in bodybuilding during that time.
Arnold Schwarzenegger mentioned that he didn’t know about risks linked with administration of these medicines. But he also added that earlier bodybuilders didn’t administer increased doses like current bodybuilders.  That’s why it was not dangerous to use these preparations.
Today it is necessary to consider that athletes and bodybuilders use very increased quantities which may have negative impact on health. Usage of high dosages usually causes grave permanent adverse results. That’s why Arnold Schwarzenegger is against usage of steroids for performance-enhancing effects. Quantities that were taken by the prominent bodybuilder were lower by 20 times than those used by current bodybuilders. That’s why Arnold Schwarzenegger cooperated with International Federation of Bodybuilders against intake of doping products in competitive bodybuilding.
