Andrew Tilin is criticized for being involved in the doping subculture

The amateur cyclist and writer Andrew Tilin  was banned for 2 years. United States Anti-Doping Agency banned this individual after he had admitted applying steroids for legal hormone replacement therapy. The admitting was made by the cyclist in own book which will be soon probably released. The book is entitled following: “The Doper Next Door: My Strange and Scandalous Year on Performance-Enhancing Drugs” .
The book describes personal experiences of several persons who used preparations which possess performance-enhancing effects.
Thus, Andrew Tilin applied the steroid testosterone for hormone replacement therapy. It is quite clear.  Actually, it is not yet clear whether this rider has noted about personal experience related also to other drugs which enhance performance.
Tilin tries to understand and describe in his book why individuals dope. He notices the motivations of different people. Do these products help really? These drugs are quite controversial; the explanations linked with these preparations are also controversial. Since many users do not like talking about their administration, numerous answers on questions about doping remain unopened.
Andrew Tilin has been essentially changed due to administration of the steroid testosterone. He has become much stronger but more aggressive. This person had to worry about his health and about the methods to cheat, being an amateur rider. Thus, Andrew Tilin became to be implicated in the doping subculture.
Writing his book, Andrew Tilin wanted to explain that steroids are unsafe and cause many side effects.  A lot of sportspersons that have taken controlled drugs criticize Tilin. One of critics is Joe Papp, a former American cyclist. This sportsman was caught selling and using several performance-enhancing drugs. He didn’t admit applying prohibited medications willingly; he was caught due to an investigation. His professional and personal life was destroyed because of these controlled medications. Joe Papp wrote about Andrew Tilin that he had been doped for a year intentionally. Papp mentioned that Andrew Tilin had known that the steroid testosterone was banned but he had taken it. Then he wrote that these medicines had unexpected symptoms in users.  According to Joe Papp, Andrew Tilin had to receive a ban for 4 years.
Andrew Tilin’s ban started in March 2011.
