Our hopes linked with baseball in future

The Major League Baseball experienced several baffling periods of time. It endured two situations that are claimed to be 2 world wars for baseball: the 1919 Black Sox scandal and the betting of Pete Rose on baseball. Now the MLB suffers from steroid era. It is widely believed that it will be capable to endure this period too. There was a case that had an essential impact on baseball too. It was the case connected with Barry Bonds.
Undoubtedly, Barry Bonds was not the only player of the MLB who applied performance-enhancing drugs. Moreover, he is not the last of them. Many baseball players have applied forbidden products to promote performance. Many players of baseball have obtained praise and millions of dollars due to intake of forbidden preparations.
The sums of money which may be obtained justify the dangers connected with administration of steroids and other performance-enhancing drugs. The baseball players who use prohibited medicines do not care so scrupulously about their reputation, as they trouble about getting money. Such persons are responsible for the influence which is spread upon fans that try to be similar to them and upon future generation that will have hot discussions about baseball and the steroid era.
Nobody doubts that any baseball player that uses steroids destroys his honor. It is made only because of money. Such person trades own reputation only for obtaining money.
Nevertheless, it is believed that future of baseball is light. Numerous baseball players have talents and appropriate skills; they train intensively and dedicate themselves completely to this sport. They are honest people. They keep their image. Such individuals love baseball truthfully. They don’t care only about money. Such baseball players are motivated by pure love to baseball.
In fact, the MLB ignores steroids. But unluckily, there are individuals in each sport who profit from steroid use.
Our hope is following: we think that the day comes, when we’ll see sportspeople that compete not because of administration of steroids and other related preparations but due to natural talents, skills and intensive workouts.
