Some circumstances induce using steroids by American youth

American youth are fans of their sports stars. They have already numerous such idols from the days of the baseball players Babe Ruth and Shoeless Joe Jackson till the stars of nowadays: the football player Peyton Manning and the baseball player Derek Jeter. Fans observe and repeat their every move.
Isn’t it dangerous to idolize sports stars of today? It can be risky. Today sports heroes obtain millions of dollars due to usage of steroids. Although the NFL and the MLB fight against usage of controlled substances, the war seems to be unsuccessful. Usage of steroids like cancer destructs sports. Although American youth are educated about dangerous undesirable results of these medicines, the results are not good.
It is said that youth are suppressed to use steroids. They put efforts to meet the needed criteria of college admission; they adore current professional sportspersons. The all these aspects promote using steroids.
Of course, all parents want their children to succeed. If children go info sports, their parents want them to win and to continue to play professionally. Children understand that it is not easy to do it. Which are the results? The pressure impacts greatly on American youth.  Over 10 % of teenagers feel that they need to lie in order to have success. College admission levels have been reduced because of budget cuts. The Recovery Place proclaims that it can lead to the situation, when high school students will look for other ways to be able to stand out among crowds. Abuse of steroids may seem for teenagers to be the best alternative method.
American youth know that many professional sportspersons have succeeded differently. Some of them did it due to their talents and hard trainings; others applied steroids and other related drugs. If American youth act like those who dope, which will be the consequences?
Prolonged intake of steroids can cause addiction to these medicines. Furthermore, users of steroids can experience such undesirable effects, as liver tumors, cancer, hypertension, icterus, kidney dysfunctions and bad cholesterol. These adverse results are considered to be dangerous; they may be life-threatening.
Undoubtedly, parents don’t desire to see their children ill. They want their children to achieve goals due to devotion to sports and hard workouts. But it is difficult to do it because many others cheat, applying steroids. Now it is time to do everything to push out steroids. These medications shouldn’t disturb to make real our dreams.

Numerous baseball players are still taking steroids and other related drugs

There is a topic which promotes hot debates. Especially baseball fans are excited, when they hear about steroids and their influence on this sport. Thus, in case you desire to cause heated debates, you just have to mention that some superstars win due to administration of steroids.
Different people have different points of view, when it comes to the theme about steroids. Sometimes it is difficult to comprehend why certain people that play baseball administrate steroids. Do they play baseball only for money? Are they so blinded by money and praise that they do everything for these perspectives? Undoubtedly, the most respected baseball players are those that don’t administrate steroids and win due to natural talents. Those are worth of respect, honor and awards that are not lured to dope for achievement of their goals.
It is believed that users of steroids must not be elected for the Hall of Fame. It represents attempt to escape from shame related to the steroid era. You can observe efforts to leave all negative effects in past and to move further. But do these efforts to blame steroid users mean that the steroid era is over? Actually, a wrong impression is created here. The steroid era is not over. Those who suppose that blaming steroid users mean that baseball is drug-free are mistaken.
Everybody knows that numerous players of baseball have administrated anabolic steroids and other related products. Furthermore, nobody doubts that today there are such players of baseball who continue to use banned drugs. Numerous persons debate whether a player with average skills can become great due to usage of banned products. Certain persons claim that without appropriate talents steroids do not profit. Talents must present. Others do not agree with this statement. They claim that steroids can increase performance whatever talent a person has.
But the problem is that we demonize players who dope alone. But not only sportspersons should be condemned for the steroid era. Everyone knows what happens actually during the steroid era.
It is unlikely that the steroid era has come to the end. Baseball hasn’t yet past the dark clouds. Administration of steroids is still deeply in the heart of baseball. Decisive efforts must present to be convinced that doping doesn’t influence on baseball longer.

To obtain a contract for playing in the MLB means movement from poverty to normal life for Dominicans

The Major League Baseball put efforts to prevent intake of steroids. It desires to nip doping in the bud. Then it will be able to achieve the big show. A location where the efforts of the MLB are applied and clearly seen is the Dominican Republic.
Those who live in the Dominican Republic want to play professional baseball in the U. S. This is not only a dream. This desire becomes real. Thus, the whole family changes the location where the family lives. Unfortunately, a lot of persons are inclined to administrate steroids and other related drugs which increase performance to reach their goal.
The Dominican Republic is a country where numerous individuals use steroids and other drugs which enhance performance. That’s why an athlete from this location is asked whether he has administrated steroids or other related drugs. Undoubtedly, this individual claims that he has never doped because tests are performed and everybody fears to be caught taking any controlled substance.
The MLB subjects to tests athletes from the Dominican Republic. So, one year 13 persons out of 40 tested amateur athletes from this location tested positive. The MLB intends to tests Dominicans and to penalize those that dope.
It is proclaimed that the number of Dominicans that are sent to the MLB is essentially higher than the number of players that are sent from all countries of the Latin America.
The MLB tries to push steroids out of baseball. Amateur players are taught about dangers for their health linked with steroids. They are educated about side consequences which may be provoked by steroids.
The financial position of the Dominican Republic is a significant problem in this case. The average wage is approximately 8, 5000 dollars per year there. To receive a signing bonus of 180, 000 dollars is a real achievement for any Dominican. That’s why sportspersons from the Dominican Republic are especially inclined to dope for such perspectives. They want to get a contract for playing professional baseball in the MLB. They try to get it for well-being of their families and for improvement quality of life in future. Obtaining a contract means moving from a rented small house to a private home, from poverty to normal conditions of life, from travelling by bus to driving own car.
In fact, steroid use is not a problem just in that is limited within the Dominican Republic. It is a trouble that corrupts the whole world. No one sportsperson can be sure whether he competes against an individual who has natural skills and talents or against a person who administrates steroids and other related medications. That’s why it is necessary to nip usage of steroids and other performance-enhancing drugs in the bud.
Youth must be taught about dangers connected with doping not just in the Dominican Republic or only in the U. S. but everywhere.

Our hopes linked with baseball in future

The Major League Baseball experienced several baffling periods of time. It endured two situations that are claimed to be 2 world wars for baseball: the 1919 Black Sox scandal and the betting of Pete Rose on baseball. Now the MLB suffers from steroid era. It is widely believed that it will be capable to endure this period too. There was a case that had an essential impact on baseball too. It was the case connected with Barry Bonds.
Undoubtedly, Barry Bonds was not the only player of the MLB who applied performance-enhancing drugs. Moreover, he is not the last of them. Many baseball players have applied forbidden products to promote performance. Many players of baseball have obtained praise and millions of dollars due to intake of forbidden preparations.
The sums of money which may be obtained justify the dangers connected with administration of steroids and other performance-enhancing drugs. The baseball players who use prohibited medicines do not care so scrupulously about their reputation, as they trouble about getting money. Such persons are responsible for the influence which is spread upon fans that try to be similar to them and upon future generation that will have hot discussions about baseball and the steroid era.
Nobody doubts that any baseball player that uses steroids destroys his honor. It is made only because of money. Such person trades own reputation only for obtaining money.
Nevertheless, it is believed that future of baseball is light. Numerous baseball players have talents and appropriate skills; they train intensively and dedicate themselves completely to this sport. They are honest people. They keep their image. Such individuals love baseball truthfully. They don’t care only about money. Such baseball players are motivated by pure love to baseball.
In fact, the MLB ignores steroids. But unluckily, there are individuals in each sport who profit from steroid use.
Our hope is following: we think that the day comes, when we’ll see sportspeople that compete not because of administration of steroids and other related preparations but due to natural talents, skills and intensive workouts.

Numerous articles report about usage and sales of steroids

The theme linked with steroids appears everywhere. It is widely discussed by numerous people. Every day numerous articles mention about these medications. You read news that report about individuals who take steroids. You come across stories about those who are caught distributing steroids and sentenced to probation or imprisonment. Although steroids are prescribed for numerous persons to cure them from some diseases, usage of these preparations for increase of performance is more widely spread. It seems that it destroy the whole world.
People are controlled by money. If they may earn money due to sales or administration of anabolic steroids, they do it. They are not stopped by the laws. They administrate and sell these preparations, although they are claimed to be illicit in some countries. Numerous people violate steroid laws because they can obtain money, distributing and/or using steroids.
No one doubts that you have read many articles about wrestlers that have used banned drugs for many years. Some of users died of sudden attacks, being young. But no one wants to admit that fatal situations happen because steroids. Many persons deny links between serious diseases and usage of steroids.
The Major League Baseball wants to escape from steroid era. We believe that the time comes, when baseball will be played without drugs and winners will be decided due to natural talent and skills of players but not due to medications that have performance-enhancing effects.
It is impossible to be sure that you comprehend how wide spread administration of banned drugs is in professional and non-professional sports. Intake of steroids by competitive sportspersons is cheating. If athletes administrate medicines that increase performance, they lie. They take unfair advantage during competitions.
Any consumer of steroids that goes info sports should determine whether he/she has talent to be involved in sports. If he/she can’t compete, he/she must have another job. Each person must do the job he/she really can do. So, if you are not able to play football, you must choose another job.
There is a hope that usage of steroids and other performance-enhancing drugs will be discontinued in sports. It may be that it will be soon in the future. Who knows?

A moral man that works hardly for his family and other people is sentenced to imprisonment for selling about $2000 worth of steroids

The laws which criminalize intake of anabolic steroids have appeared due to certain conditions. They turned out to be responses to widespread intake of steroids in competitive sports. Anti-Doping Agencies hoped that ban of steroids would keep professional athletes far from intake of illegal medications. But criminalization of steroids influenced on administration of steroids by competitive athletes insignificantly.
The steroid laws usually do not prosecute sportspersons who use illegal medicines. On the contrary, non-competitive sportspeople and recreational bodybuilders are usually targets of the steroid laws. They suffer due to consequences of violation of these laws.
This is not only one’s opinion. This is reality. Let realize: who is sentenced to jail because of selling steroids? For example, Ashley Dewayne Rivers of Alabama was sentenced to 5 months in jail because he had sold about $2000 worth of steroids to a health care provider. In fact, this person was not the target of a steroid investigation. He only turned out to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. The estranged wife of this physician informed federal investigators that her husband was involved in operations of black steroid market. So, the affirmation of this woman led to the situation, when the doctor was investigated.
Actually, Ashley Rivers was a supplier of steroids for short period of time. This person supplied his friends of his gym with these medicines. James Robinson, the defense attorney for Ashley Rivers, claimed that his client had recognized his guilty completely and taken the whole responsibility for his illegal actions.  The attorney confirmed that Rivers was a moral man. Although he broke the steroid laws, he recognized the dangers and admitted to his guilty.
James Robinson asked the judge to sentence Rivers Ashley only to probation.  Rivers cared about his wheelchair-bound wife, 2 adopted children  and 3 children of his disabled brother. Moreover, this man gave about 40, 000 dollars for persons that lost their homes because of tornadoes. It would be better, if this man were sentenced to probation. Rivers Ashley would continue to work for his family and other individuals.
But Christopher Brinson, the Assistant U. S. Attorney, rejected the request of James Robinson. He stated that this person committed a serious crime and he should serve time in jail. Although the judge was inclined to agree with the request of the defense attorney  at the beginning, finally he decided to agree with the Assistant U.S. Attorney and sentenced Rivers to 5 months in jail.
You may see that steroid laws don’t influence on professional athletes.

Jose Canseco plays baseball clean

Jose Canseco is a former player of the Major League Baseball. He was banned for usage of steroids. This former baseball player wrote a book “Juiced” in which he noticed that numerous players of the MLB took steroids.
Now Jose Canseco has been invited to play for the Tigres de Quintana Roo of Cancun. He has talked about his dreams to play in the MLB again. He has written on Twitter that Cancun is his following step towards the MLB.
This person has not played professional baseball since 2001 after he had played for the Chicago White Sox. This player was probably blackballed by baseball because of his statements connected with steroids and described in the book “Juiced: Wild Times, Rampant ‘Roids, Smash Hits & How Baseball Got Big”.  He has identified himself as the “godfather” of steroids in baseball and took credit for introducing these substances in baseball. This person openly acknowledged in his book that he had taken anabolic steroids and other performance-enhancing drugs. The author of the book mentioned also names of other baseball players that took steroids. Such persons, as  Mark McGwire, Juan Gonzalez, Rafael Palmeiro, Ivan Rodriguez, and Jason Giambi were named by Jose Canseco.
In spite of the fact that anabolic steroids may be purchased without any prescription at Mexican pharmacies, they are prohibited in MLB.
According to certain sources, Jose Canseco will be tested for forbidden medications by the Quintana Roo Tigers.
Jose Canseco claims that he has discontinued taking steroids several years ago. According to some sources, since stopping using steroids it had been recommended testosterone replacement therapy for him to cure certain problems related to low testosterone level.
The Cuban-American former baseball player said that he had had some unwanted symptoms because of administration of steroids. So, his doctor had to prescribe him a testosterone gel to relieve from reduced sex drive and depression.
While he put efforts to restore his natural testosterone production, he got some problems with laws. This person was detained for about 9 hours by the San Diego Immigration and Customs Enforcement after he had been caught possessing a vial of HCG at the international border. His house was raided by police officials but no any steroids were found.
However Jose Canseco will never escape from his steroid past, he put efforts to continue playing baseball professionally.

Prohibition of steroids in MMA makes this sport safer

Some mixed martial artists have publicly acknowledged that they use anabolic steroids as a part of testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) that has been indicated by health care providers. The executive director of the Nevada State Athletic commission (NSAC) Keith Kizer believes that this factor has created a perception among many people that steroid exemptions are given to allow MMA fighters to use the steroid testosterone.
During an interview with Ben Fowlkes of MMA Fighting Keith Kizer noticed that several persons thought that any fighter could get exemptions for intake of testosterone. He noted that he couldn’t say it about other states but he described the situation in Nevada. According to the executive director of the NSAC,  it is 50/50 whether a request for steroid exemption  will be approved.
TRT is a therapy that is required for adult men who have hypogonadism (reduced levels of testosterone). If sportspeople correspond to the medical criteria, they may be allowed to administrate steroids.
The NSAC has strict requirements for fighter who want to obtain a therapeutic use exemption (TUE) for administration of steroids. An athlete should have the document that manifests that blood levels of testosterone are reduced.  But if an athlete has low level of testosterone, it is not enough to get a TUE. Treating doctors should identify reasons and medical conditions. The details linked with testosterone replacement therapy should be identified by doctors as well. Each detail should manifest that a fighter needs to  take testosterone for medical needs and intake of steroids will not give unfair advantage to the athlete.
Certain top athletes of Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) have administrated steroids for TRT. Chael Sonnen, Nate Marquardt, Dennis Hallman and Dan Henderson belong to the starts of the UFC that use steroids for therapeutic needs.
Keith Kizer, the executive director of the NSAC proclaims that prohibition of steroids makes MMA safer. He notices that if a fighter uses steroids, he/she takes unfair advantage as if it is applied knuckles that are hidden inside gloves.  So, this is not only lying. This situation is related to risks for life. If you say to a fighter that you can put knuckles in the gloves so, as no one will know it, this athlete will say you not to bother him. But it is strangely that such person takes steroids.
No one doubts that intake of steroids has potential dangers to increase the harm which may occur in MMA.

A father that wanted his son became an Olympic athlete injected him with steroids, HGH and HCG

James Gahan injected his son Corey who is 13 years old with anabolic steroids. He wanted him to become an Olympic athlete.
This boy became an inline skating champion at the national level. This boy won the 2004 Inline Speed Skating Nationals. He also won the 2nd  place at the 2005 National Indoor Speed Skating Championship.
James Gahan pleaded guilty in possessing and injecting steroids to his small son. This person collaborated with a trainer from Florida to provide his son with following drugs: testosterone, Deca Durabolin, HGH and HCG. This person was arrested in May, 2004. As a result of his illegal actions, he received 6 years in jail.
Since he had already completed his time in a prison, he was released. This person started to claim that his attitude to steroids and other banned preparations had been changed totally. This person talked to high school athletes about dangers connected with administration of steroids. It was a part of his community service to which James Gahan had  been sentenced by the court.
This individual said nothing about influence of steroids on the life and health of his son. This person mentioned only about own experiences with these products. He noticed that if one wanted to see adverse reactions of anabolic steroids, he might manifest them because he administrated these preparations. This person noticed that he administrated 45 pills daily and his insides had eroded.
Actually, James Gahan didn’t explain what he meant, claiming that his insides had eroded because of steroids. He said nothing about his disease which required 45 tablets daily!
This person said about his son that he had known everything they had done. But he noticed that since he was the father, he took the complete responsibility upon himself. But James Gahan concluded that it would be better for his son to acknowledge that he had cheated.
But Corey doesn’t want to talk to his father who has injected him with steroids. Earlier he has said that his father has never been sorry for giving steroids to him; he has been sorry because he has been caught doing it.

Colin Daynes will not participate in the 2012 London Olympics

Colin Daynes, a Greco-Roman wrestler, was going to represent Canada at the 2012 London Olympics. But his dreams will not be real. Administration of banned drugs caused this unpleasant case. This wrestler was caught using steroids, diuretics and a selective estrogen receptor modulator.
Earlier Colin Daynes won the 74 kg division at the Canadian Wrestling Qualification Trials.
The Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sports reported that Colin Daynes had tested positive for such forbidden preparations, as boldenone, drostanolone, furosemide and tamoxifen. Boldenone and drostanolone are anabolic steroids that are better known under their trade names: Equipose and Masteron. When it comes to Tamoxifen, it is known as Nolvadex. This drug is usually administrated in combinations with several others to minimize water retention. Furosemide or Lasix belongs to the class of diuretics. Wrestlers use this drug as well as other diuretics to lose body weight to correspond to requirements of certain weight classes.
Colin Daynes admitted that he had taken anabolic steroids and other prohibited drugs intentionally. He noted that he had taken these medicines to get recovery from a partially-torn bicep and an elbow injury.  But this wrestler added that he hadn’t known that these products were prohibited by the WADA. This wrestler blamed his doctor for this case. He said that he had consulted a naturopathic doctor who recommended him using these medicines. Colin Daynes noted that if he had known that the preparations were prohibited, he would not have competed.
Colin Daynes represented Canada at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics. After he won the national trials in 2008 he intended to take part in the Beijing Olympics. But he didn’t take part in this Olympics because he couldn’t qualify at the international level. Recently this person won the Canadian Wrestling Qualifying Trials in December, 2011, and had to secure his allowance for the 2012 London Olympics through the competition at the Pan American Wrestling Championship.
But due to usage of forbidden products Colin Daynes has been sentenced to 2-year ban. It means that he is not permitted to compete till December 2012, when his athletic career ends too.
Colin Daynes reported that he had represented the native country proudly. He concluded that people could judge him, if they were able to do it after his 25-year successful career and everything he had done.

Some people think that Armstrong’s case has been closed due to money and corruption

The case against Lance Armstrong connected with doping is announced to be closed. This person remains to be considered a champion that won at the Tour de France 7 times.
It is known that federal prosecutors put efforts to define whether this cyclist and his teammates have taken part in a doping program. The length of the investigation has been approximately 2 years.
Lance Armstrong denied that he has taken prohibited preparations. The accusations against this person threatened to his athletic career as well as to his Foundation of cancer research and support. The efforts to prove that this cyclist used steroids were in vain.
This cyclist claimed that he had heard that the US Attorney’s Office decided to close the investigation. He noted that it was a right decision. Armstrong claimed that he was waiting to continue his usual life, being a father, a competitor and an advocate in the fight against cancer.
The attorney Andre Birotte announced during a press conference that the US Attorney’s Office closed the investigation related to the case of Lance Armstrong. This attorney didn’t notice about any reason of this decision. But he just said that come previous similar cases were also closed.
For example, the investigation linked with Barry Bonds was considered to be unsuccessful. Prosecutors were not able to prove that this sportsperson had cheated about usage of steroids. As for the case connected with Roger Clemens, the trial was indicated for another time because the judge declared about previous mistrial.
Investigators suspected that a doping program was formed by Armstrong’s team. They desired to determine whether it was so as they suspected. Authorities investigated whether Lance Armstrong encouraged or induced doping.
Actually, prosecutors put efforts to determine whether Lance Armstrong and his team broke federal conspiracy and fraud charges. While Barry Bonds testified before a federal grand jury and Clemens testified before Congress, Lance Armstrong was not required to present before a grand jury. Barry Bonds and Clemens were charged with lying under oath.
Frank, a former teammate of Lance Armstrong, and her wife Betsy Andreu accused Armstrong in intake of controlled substance. They confirmed that they were shocked by the decision to close the investigation. They concluded that such cases happened due to power of money.

Did Lyle Alzado die because of steroid abuse?

The professor of Wisconsin’s University Norm Fost claims about some common misconceptions linked with anabolic steroids. Although certain specialists proclaim about dangerous and even fatal unwanted reactions of anabolic steroids, the physician Fost denies these statements, claiming that they don’t have any scientific basis.
But statements of Norm Fost are not so frequently quoted by media as statements about severe adverse symptoms of steroids.  So, the message of Norm Fost that steroids are not so harmful, as it is believed, is noticed once for every 500-time affirmation that steroids represent a real evil.
Furthermore, editors usually mislead readers, writing the quotes of this expert wrongly. For example, a headline of a radio talk sounds following: “UW-Madison doctor: steroids aren’t harmful at all”. The headline is wrong. It is misleading. Norm Fost has never confirmed that steroids were not harmful at all. It is obvious that these products can cause various undesirable symptoms. Norm doesn’t deny probability of occurring  undesirable consequences. In fact, this physician says some other things. This physician notes that probable risks of steroids are significantly exaggerated. This expert denies the statement that steroids cause the rare type of brain cancer. According to some sources, this led to the death of Lyle Alzado, a player of the NFL. Dr. Fost notes that there is no any connection between the death of this player and steroids.
Alzado demonized his prolonged steroid abuse for the primary brain lymphoma which finally led to his death. Assertion of this player was the only evidence which supported the link between his steroid use and the brain cancer.
But a question appears here. Why did Lyle Alzado make public his steroid use, demonizing anabolic steroids for his illness? Couldn’t you find this factor strange?
In fact, it was said that AIDS had affected his immune system and induced destructing his body by the primary brain lymphoma.
A pathologist noted that Alzado had had T-cell lymphoma that was linked with AIDS. According to Dr. Thomas DeLoughery, Alzado was afraid that the public would know that he died from AIDS because of the cancer.
Pathologists at OHSU reported that this football player had had B-cell lymphoma which was not connected with HIV or AIDS.
The doctor DeLoughery explained the case. He noted that T-cells of this person were inflamed but the malignant cells were B-cells.
While specialists disputed about AIDS and the type of cancer that Lyle Alzado had, nobody of them noted about links between his brain lymphoma and intake of steroids.

Anna Watson was attempted to use steroids many times

Anna Watson, an university cheerleader of Georgia, noticed that she was pressured to use steroids to get a fitness modeling contract. Her modeling agent indicated her to take Anavar in order to get needed 50 pounds of muscles. Anna Watson was tempted but finally she refused this recommendation. Anna Watson confirmed that her body was “a temple” and she would not destroy it.
This person mentioned that she had been tempted by steroid use several times. The agent tried to present steroids as something good.
It was noted that she would obtain a $75,000 per year fitness modeling contract, if she take steroids and get 50 pounds of muscles. Anna Watson said that she talked to Elite Model Management representatives in Paris. Elite is one of the most prestigious modeling networks. Such super-models, as Adriana Lima, Cindy Crawfors and Gisele Bundchen belong to Elite.
But Anna Watson  has chosen to be better a cheerleader at the University than to be involved in the glamorous world. Furthermore, this lady rejected usage of steroids because this factor wasn’t in harmony with her religious principles. this person noted that she didn’t serve a modeling agent but the Lord. She added that she had been created as a beautiful creation. This person made a conclusion that she wouldn’t violate her moral and religious principles just to take photos. Anna Watson  decided not to destroy her health.
Several questions appear, reading these statements. One can ask whether Elite Model Management looks for models who have the same appearance like competitive female bodybuilders. Or may be Anna Watson just desire to draw people’s attention by taking advantage of negative attitude to steroids?
It is evident that if Anna Watson acquires 50 pounds of muscles, she will be capable to compete on national bodybuilding stage. But what is for contract of 75, 000 dollars per year? Sportspersons know that such sums of money are not obtained easily even in sports. But can such large sum of money be obtained from modeling agency? It is controversial.
Female bodybuilders fight greatly to get prize money. Females with muscular appearance are more likely to get money from “schmoes” (males that have sexual fetish for muscular women) than from such prestigious modeling agencies, as Elite.

Synthetic steroids were contained in the supplement that was administrated by King Mo Lawal

King Mo Lawal admitted that he had used a dietary supplement that was tainted. As it turned out to be, that supplement contained 2 ingredients that were synthetic steroids. According to this fighter and his manager, intake of this product led to positive for Masteron.
King Mo Lawal noted during an interview for MMA Hour that he had got “S-Mass Lean Gainer” in a Max Muscle store in April, 2010. This supplement was produced by Steel Body Production.
But this is not the situation, when steroid ingredients are not disclosed. Synonyms of prohibited medications are listed on the label of this product. In fact, these steroids were the subjects of certain debates between anti-doping organizations and federal regulators since 2005. They are following:  2a-17a-Dimethyl-5aandrost-3-one 17b-ol and 4-Chloro-17a-Methyl-a-andro4-ene3, 17b-diol. These preparations are better known under the names: Superdrol and Promagnon.
As for Superdrol, it goes by methyldrostanolone, methasteron and 2a-17a-Dimethyl-5aandrost-3-one 17b-ol. Thus, methylated version of Masteron was defined in the urine sample of King Mo Lawal by a proper lab of the anti-doping agency.
Anabolic Resources, a pharmaceutical company, was the first that manufactured Superdrol as a dietary supplement. It was over 5 years ago. This company was accused in introducing of a new unapproved drug. Later Anabolic Resources pleaded guilty and acknowledged that they had sold a synthetic steroid as a dietary supplement.  As a result, this company had to pay a fine of 500, 000 dollars.
As for Promagnon, it also originally appeared as a dietary supplement in 2005 by Peak Performance’ Labs. The government didn’t take any action against this pharmaceutical company for producing and selling this steroid. But the company made a decision to stop manufacturing this supplement in 2006.
However legal status of these two substances is controversial, a lot of companies have manufactured and distributed them as dietary supplements during about 6 years. Undoubtedly, persons who are involved in this industry know about the status of these steroids but they continue to offer them for sales.
Mike Kogan, the manager for King Mo Lawal, says that the full responsibilities must be taken by the companies which market synthetic steroids as dietary supplements. He believes that such companies misguide users intentionally.

Ryan Braun said that characters of people were revealed in cases of adversary

However Ryan Braun of the Milwaukee Brewers faces a suspension for intake of anabolic steroids, he accepted his Most Valuable Player Award at the dinner of Baseball Writers Association. This sportsman didn’t acknowledge to usage of banned medicines. He noted that he had become a victim of a false positive. This person fights against the results which have been announced.
Altough it has been lately discussed whether consumers of steroids have right to be voted for Baseball’s Hall of Fame, they do not lose their Most Valuable Player awards. Even admitted steroid users keep their MVP awards.
Jack O’Connell claimed that Ryan Braun would be permitted to keep the MVP awards. Earlier other consumers of steroids were allowed also to keep their MVP awards. For example, Ken Caminity kept his 1996 MVP award; Alex Rodriquez kept his 2003 MVP award. Both these athletes admitted that they had used steroids.
According to testosterone: epitestosterone (T: E) ratio, Ryan Braun had enhanced level of testosterone in October 2011. The T: E ratio has indicated about exogenous type of testosterone. Actually, this test can’t show actual amount of used testosterone.
Another method of testing was used by the World Anti-Doping Agency accredited lab in Montreal to confirm the analysis of the T: E ratio testing. It was used carbon isotope ratio testing which indicated about existence of exogenous testosterone.
Numerous sportswriters thought that Ryan Braun should have forfeited his MVP awards because of the positives for steroids. But this person made another decision. Ryan Braun decided to accept the awards and address with the speech about false charges with administration of steroids.  This baseball player said that characters of persons are revealed in such situations of adversary. He noted that he had a great respect to baseball. This player concluded that he made a lot for his career in this sport but he had done everything with great respect and appreciation towards baseball.
It was said that Braun had been one of the youngest players of the Major League Baseball that didn’t feel needs to administrate steroids to be able to play. When this person found out about positive of Alex Rodriquez for steroids, he was very surprised.  He said that Alex Rodriquez should have been enough honest to admit to intake of controlled drugs.
Ryan Braun decided to fight against the results of his tests, claiming that unusual circumstances surrounded this situation. He mentioned that he would prove his innocence and false positives.

A young cyclist from France used more than 10 banned preparations

Usage of anabolic steroids and other drugs that increase performance is widespread among amateur as well as professional athletes. It isn’t surprisingly, when sportspersons test positive for prohibited products. But there are several unusual situations, when an individual tests positive for many banned medicines. Here is an example.
The teenage amateur French cyclist Alexandre Dougnier tested positive for more than 10 banned medications, including more than 5 steroid metabolites. It was at a race in France in May, 2011. This young person has been sentenced to 3-year ban from competitions.
It was determined that this young cyclist had taken such steroids, as Anavar, Dianabol and Winstrol. Other steroid metabolites that were discovered in his urine sample were following;  3-Hydroxystanozolol, 16b-Hydroxystanozolol, 4b-Hydroxystanozolol, Oxandrolone, epi-Oxandrolone, 6b-Hydroxymethandienone and 17-epi-Methandienone.
This amateur cyclist was a member of the Parisian Athletic Club de Boulogne-Billancourt. Certain individuals note that this amateur cyclist might have been a follower of the club’s doper Jacques Anquetil. This person has been considered to be a well-known individual of cycling’s history. Jacques Anquetil was a member of the club de Boulogne-Billancourt in 1950s and 1960s. He was the first cyclist who had won the Tour de France 5 times. This cyclist had got also 2 Olympic medals.
Jacques Anquetil took steroids and other performance-enhancing drugs. Furthermore, this cyclist defended doping during a TV debate with the French sports minister. He said that it was not possible to endure cold, heat waves and rain in mountains during cycling without doping. He confirmed that only a fool person would endure this agony connected with the extreme sport of cycling without performance-enhancing drugs. This celebrated cyclist added that drug testing might deprive personal liberty. Jacques Anquetil concluded that everybody doped.
It is important to know steroids were not so widespread among cyclists in 1950s and 1960s. Intake of more dangerous amphetamines was more widespread during those years. As for usage of anabolic steroids, it has become more widespread during past 2 decades.
Let see which affirmations have been said about steroids, when other cyclists have been caught taking them. When the cyclist Floyd Landis was caught applying testosterone, it was confirmed by his legal team that neither anabolic steroids, nor other performance-enhancing drugs were able to increase performance in cyclists.  As for the distributor of steroids Joseph Papp, he didn’t agree with this affirmation. He noticed that administration of steroids was widespread in elite cycling. According to his words, any individual may take testosterone gels in a clever way without being caught by anti-doping programs: users of transdermal testosterone should take in consideration time of detection.
Alexandre Dougnier wasn’t careful and didn’t put efforts to avoid detection. He probably didn’t suggest that cyclists would be tested for forbidden preparations at the race in Aubervilliers.

Rampage Jackson and King Mo Lawal didn’t display their dislike to each other for some years

Quinton Rampage Jackson and King Mo Lawal don’t have good relations. They didn’t show their dislike to each other for several years. During an interview Lawal said about their relationships, noting that he doesn’t have good opinion about  Rampage Jackson who also doesn’t like him.
That’s why it isn’t surprisingly at all that Rampage Jackson commented on the fact connected with Lawal’s positive for drostanolone (Masterone).
Jackson confirmed that it was quite obvious that Lawal had taken steroids. He noted that King Mo was not a true fighter. He used steroids to be capable to compete.
Quinton Rampage Jackson noticed that there were fighters that were allowed to take steroids. He referred to those who had to take steroids for testosterone replacement therapy. This fighter said that it was a substantial difference between goals. Fighters and other sportspeople are permitted to take steroids for TRT and not for increase of performance, according to this fighter.
This fighter notes that there are persons that have certain health problems. They consult their doctors who prescribe steroids. They administrate these medications to to escape from their diseases and to stay competitive. But Ranpage Jackson adds that there are fighters that administrate steroids in order to enhance their performance. It is very sadly, according to this mixed martial artist.
Nevertheless, administration of steroids for hormone replacement therapy by sportspeople is a quite controversial question.
Such fighters, as Dennis Hallman, Chael Sonnen, Nate Marquardt and Dan Henderson admitted that they had administrated steroids because of hypogonadism.
So, Rampage is a fighter that confirmed about permission to take steroids as a part of TRT by athletes. But there are other fighters that don’t agree with this point of view. Many athletes have the same opinion as Michael Bisping has. They claim that intake of steroids is just justified by therapeutic conditions. They believe that all fighters that use anabolic steroids, claiming that they are on TRT, are liars.
King Mo Lawal confirms that he is not guilty, claiming that his manager has heard nothing about the steroid Masterone. Both King Mo Lawal and his manager confirm that they are really surprised by the results of the test.
A fight between Jackson and Lawal was waiting by many fans. There were several rumors that they would fight in February, 2012. But the hopes of fans were not justified. Lawal has to serve a suspension.

Unexpected responses to positives of Santos for Winstrol

Dana White, the president of the UFC, announced about the end of the female featherweight division in Strikeforce. He noticed that it was related to positive of Christiane Cyborg Santos for Winstrol. Dana White confirmed that this factor would induce the ending of the whole division. Santos lost her title. That’s why Dana White came to the conclusion linked with the end of the division.
It is said that the president of the UFC didn’t suggest which would be the response of certain individuals to the Winstrol metabolites that had been discovered in Santos’ sample. He didn’t except that a great war would begin on Twitter between well-known female mixed martial artists.
Rowdy Ronda Rousey that is the top of female MMA featherweight and that has received the bronze medal in judo noticed about her negative attitude to usage of anabolic steroids and her attitude to Cyborg Santos.
Rowdy Rousey made her thoughts about this issue public. She expressed them during an interview with TapouT Radio. Rowdy Rousey pointed out that intake of steroids was caused by uncertainty of fighters in their skills, strength and abilities. She pointed out that the decision to apply performance-enhancing drugs came from the feelings that the individuals were not enough prepared to win in competitions. Rowdy Rousey claimed that usage of steroids and other related preparations manifested psychological weakness of consumers. According to this female mixed martial artist, this weakness induces lying.
Rowdy Rousey noticed about her attitude to the ban of Cyborg Santos during several interviews. This person talked to Mauro Ranallo during “The MMA Show” that she knew that Cyborg Santos had administrated controlled medicines. She said that she never had respect toward the steroid user. Rowdy Rousey concluded that she was glad to know out that Santos had been caught and suspended.
As for Chris Cyborg Santos, she became angry because of Rousey’s words. She told her fans on Twitter that Rousey would be her next victim at the fight. The fight will probably be after serving of the suspension by Santos. She hopes that she will be welcomed by Strikeforce.
Santos wrote following wordsto Rowdy Ronda Rousey: “Proxima victim…Ronda! No mercy!!” Santos posted a photo of Gina Carano after she defeated her at Strikeforce Female Championship. But she didn’t host the real picture. Instead of it, she applied Photoshop to exaggerate the damages which were inflicted by her upon Gina Carano.
Rousey didn’t hesitate a lot; she responded to the words and the image at once. She had rough words for Cyborg Santos, blaming her for lying and for hosting  the picture, using Photoshop.
Many people believe that the war on Twitter between Rowdy Ronda Rousey and Christiane Cyborg Santos is more entertaining than certain real fights. It seems that this war is the preparation for the fight between Rousey and Santos that will probably take place in 2013.
